Interferometric Optics

Optical Metrology for Inkjet Printers and Laser Printers

At Interferometric Optics we offer 20 plus years of industrial experience in optical metrology for imaging materials. This applies to imaging surfaces either on transparent substrates or paper. Our experience expands the metrology realm including: granularity, microdensitometry, MTF, spatial resolution, and spectrophotometry.

Beyond our capabilities to assess the microstructure of imaging surfaces our coherent interferometric techniques can be used to characterize size and uniformity of micro arrays used in printheads and other components, involving microstructures, in a rapid and quantitative manner. In other words, this capability can be described as rapid coherent microscopy.

Interferometric Optics deliveres N-slit interferometers and interferometric instrumentation for a variety of applications. Its producs and expertise are applicable to the assessment of inkjet printers and/or laser printers.
